Reasons to Choose the Canon EOS M50 Mark II

We're talking about full-frame mirrorless cameras these days. If there is no such camera, do not take it seriously. Why yes or why not choose a mirrorless crop camera. I have three reasons to upgrade to the Canon EOS M50 Mark II.

Everyone is talking about the Sony Alpha DSLR-the Nikon family or the Canon EOS R-series. Additionally, Panasonic is focused on the full-frame market with the Panasonic Lumix DC-S1 and DC-S5). This, of course, is the reason for this. These cameras, with large machines that are capable of incredible results in the most difficult circumstances.

Choose the Canon EOS M50 Mark II

Autofocus is fast and accurate, even in low-light conditions. In the eyes of people, animals and birds are enabled. Tracking keeps the focus on the right place, not paying attention to anything. The dynamic range expands with each new model. You can get 13 entries in 14 to stop, or even be 15 stops.

But you have to pay for it. Literally. You'll need to spend about $ 4,000 on the new Canon EOS R5. The Alpha-1 costs no more than $ 6,500. The Nikon Z7 II will cost almost $ 3,100. Here are the top models, of course. Even the cheapest entire model, which is a minimum of $1000 dollars, is a lot for many people.

But you do have the need for a full-frame mirrorless camera. Will your photo be affected by the full-frame sensor? Do I need to have all the innovative features of the best models on this list? You can do this with a mirror and a camera with a smaller matrix. One of the reasons for this is that they are much cheaper compared to their full-frame siblings, so they can be within the reach of most photographers.

New Canon EOS M50 Mark II

Canon Holland, he asked me to review the new Canon EOS M50 Mark II, a long time ago. This is a continuation of the Canon EOS M50, which was released in 2018. It's a pity that this is a mirrorless frame camera, it's hardly noticed, but because of the mirror full-frame war, it's been raging for several years.

The new Mark II version, Canon has made several improvements that this small mirrorless camera is a good choice for many people. Instead of writing a review, I decided to write down five reasons why this is very small, but which camera is the best choice for you.

1. It Has All The Important Features

Let's face it. What else do you need in a camera that has a good measurement system and the ability to use aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual mode? I think the answer is to have a perfect autofocus system that is fast and accurate.

The Canon EOS M50 Mark II has it all. Eyes, face, body, and autofocus. You can also select servo AF, the ability to touch and drag it to the AF point on the LCD touch screen, even when using an electronic viewfinder. Using dual-pixel CMOS AF with 143 autofocus points, which makes up almost the entire picture.

If you fancy a good stabilization system, the EOS M50 won’t let you down with its five-axis IBIS and digital IS. You can shoot at 7.4 frames per second with full autofocus, or 10 frames per second when the lock is turned on. Shutdown-Measure operation up to -4 EV, with an f / 2.0 lens, which is more than enough for most cases.

2. It was created for video

The small size and weight of the camera, which make it easy to get the Canon EOS M50 Mark II, you can. It's a simple selfie-stick and takes advantage of the full-motion display of your own video blog. Don't mount your camera on a small tripod or under a gorilla, and with the convenience of film, self-timer, it's easy to get started with your own video.

The camera features high-frame-per-second video at 4K 24fps, FHD 60p, and HD-120p. When connected to an IBIS system, and digital, it's easy to move around while shooting, without any problems when you look at the results later. The touch screen makes it easy to control functions. If you are using the Canon EOS M50 Mark II, then it offers options with a watch.

Audio is recorded using the built-in microphone so that it is of good quality. If necessary, you can activate the wind filter. You can enhance the sound with an external microphone, as well as the highest quality.

3. From A Convenient Menu

While this is a very personal opinion, I think Canon's menu is the best available on the market today. The Canon EOS M50 Mark II has the same menu structure as other EOS models. However, there is a big difference.

Canon EOS M50 Mark II, an amateur photographer who wants to be even more accessible in the menu structure. You can choose between straight lines, with illustrations and examples of options that you have in front of you, or more traditional menu points.

This can all be controlled via the touch screen, not via the menu, but it will also be visible on the LCD screen when shooting. Simply press the Q button on the back of the camera or on the screen, and it will allow you to change the settings available on the screen.

4. The Image Quality Is Very Good

The Canon EOS M50 Mark II is probably the best sensor available, but it also gives very good results. You need to consider the price you will pay for it in a small but capable camera. They say it's a camera that performs better than the Canon EOS 80D in many places, but I don't compare myself to it.

ISO performance is very good when the user is below ISO 3200. ISO 6400, in noise, but can still be very useful in many cases. At a time when the camera goes all the way to ISO 51,200, and it's not a very attractive effect. However, it is also available in those rare cases where it may be needed.

5. Almost Every Canon Lens Is What You Want To Be

Well, maybe not every lens you want to be, because RF-mount lenses can be used on the Canon EOS M50 Mark II. However, if you have an EF, EFs, and TS-E, or an MP-E lens, the adapter EF-M, and you can use it without any problems.

But this is not always necessary. Canon has a large selection of lenses designed for the EOS M system. They are small, compact, and easy to carry with a small camera in your pocket. However, if you want to use it with a Canon EF 500mm f/4L is II USM lens on your Canon EOS M50 mark II, this won't be a problem. It might just be a little funny.

6. It is relatively inexpensive and reliable.

Don't buy a camera, you can't afford it. Don't be tempted to buy an expensive full mirrorless camera, because everyone else has it similar to what it is. However, if you don't have the money, then why not take a step back and it will be a more budget-friendly option that will still be of good quality?

For less than $ 700, there will be a very powerful camera with excellent image quality. No need to break the bank, even if it's not a full-frame, you won't find it in most cases.

I can also recommend the Canon EOS M50 Mark II

When I made the first version of the Canon EOS M50 and back in 2018, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance, and how much fun it was. I don't have anything like that while the second version. It's the same mechanism in many aspects, but with a few improvements made in the middle.

This time I made a video with a Canon EOS M50 Mark II. I would be happy to show them to you, but be careful in English and I hope you don't mind. I took a photo in HD 50p, with a built-in microphone. This will give you an idea of what this camera is capable of, even if you don't understand Russian.

The thing is, I fell in love with this small, compact camera. It provides high-quality images and audio. It is a very small camera that has many features to make it a competent partner for your photography and video journeys.

What do you think of the Canon EOS M50 Mark II? You might consider buying a camera, or if you want another similar type of camera from a different brand? Please share your thoughts in the comments below, and don't hesitate to share what's in front of the cameras, you'll find it perfect for taking photos and video blogs.
